Thief: The Dark Project Remastered launches December 3 with pre-orders up

Thief: The Dark Project Remastered from Atari / Nightdive is now set for release on December 3rd, with pricing and pre-orders now live. Nightdive generally do a good job on their remasters, so I will be very surprised if this doesn't sell well. I fully expect it to shift a lot of sales.

Thief: The Dark Project Remastered is a modern revival of the groundbreaking classic from Looking Glass Studios that helped define the stealth genre. Remastered with Nightdive Studios’ KEX Engine, the release includes Thief: The Dark Project, the additional missions, content and updates from the 1999 Thief Gold re-release and the all-new narrative campaign, The Tarnished Mirror.

Made by the acclaimed creators of Thief: The Black Parade, one of the most ambitious fan-made expansions in PC gaming history, The Tarnished Mirror is designed to feel immediately familiar, serving as a bridge between Thief: The Dark Project and Thief II: The Metal Age. Steadily introducing new factions, environments and Lovecraftian horror, this premium story expansion is built entirely using the technology and visual language of the remaster, pushing scale and atmosphere beyond the original game’s limits while preserving its identity. This collaboration marks a rare industry moment, with Nightdive and Eidos-Montréal welcoming a community creation directly into official canon. Thief: The Dark Project Remastered is also compatible with player-created mods, including The Black Parade.

As for the price it's across two editions: Standard Digital Edition ($29.99), Deluxe Digital Edition ($34.99). The Deluxe edition adds in an art book, the official soundtrack and an excerpt of an upcoming novelization of Thief: The Dark Project.
