Aussie Bargain Roundup: LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight (Switch 2)

As one of the small number of titles to miss a day-and-date release, we’re happy to see LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight finally coming to the Switch 2 this month on September 18th, 2026. It’s only competing with 30 other games this month, no worries.

Legacy of the Dark Knight gives players the chance to experience the full adventures of Batman, from his time training with the League of Shadows to fighting Bane, voiced in the game by Matt Berry, and teaming up with Robin, Batgirl and more.

Combat is a big focus and features a fighting system that is more akin to the Arkham series than classic LEGO games. Driving the Batmobile is also a major part of the experience, and best of all, you can choose which Batmobile you want to use, whether it’s the Tim Burton version, the Christopher Nolan Tumbler, or the more recent Matt Reeves version.

The game comes in a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition as well. The Deluxe Edition, digitally and physically, comes with the same game content, including two DLC packs: the Legacy Collection and Mayhem Collection. But the physical release comes with a LEGO Retro Video Game Batman minifigure in the box.
